What is truly amazing is that the funds for this project comes entirely from the charity’s vehicle donation scheme, in which donors contribute by handing over used cars scrap car parts.This month, Goodwill Industries have been furvently marketing, hoping that they can encourage more people to donate their used cars in support of the scheme. Goodwill Industries is running a nationwide advertising campaign to make sure that everyone in the country knows how to donate and encourage as many donations as possible. Previously, people have donated their cars to charity without knowing how the funds will be used. Some people were concerned that their donation was not being used as it should be. The great thing about this initiative is that all of us will know that the money from our donated cars will be used to help those in need. Thanks to successful marketing campaigns on behalf of Goodwill Industries, vehicle donation has proven to be a successful way of raising funds, making this program a huge success. It seems that people are much happier to donate their cars to charity when they know exactly how the money will be used. Ironically, charities are doing very well in spite of the downturn in the economy because of vehicle donation. Vehicle donation gives double benefits to those that donate, firstly they feel good about helping those in need and secondly, they will be eligible for a tax break, a useful benefit in times of trouble.
